Dierks Bentley arena rig flown before doors

NEW NIGHT, NEW VENUE,
SAME SHOW

Arrays fly straight and articulate in the air, so one system adapts to sheds, arenas, and theatres in minutes — without touching a pin. The room changes. The experience doesn’t.

EVERY WORD, TO THE LAST ROW

Arena comedy is the hardest vocal gig in touring: one voice, 20,000 seats, zero tolerance for poor intelligibility. OSA International carried PK for Chappelle’s Pollstar Award-winning arena run. 22 dates. Zero refunds.

“This PK Sound technology is the real deal,” says production manager Dave Ockun.

DOZENS OF ROOMS, ONE SOUND

FOH engineer James “Pugsley” McDermott carried up to 16 Trinity per side through more than 60 arenas, sheds, and stadiums — Madison Square Garden included — reconfiguring coverage daily from PK .dynamics instead of re-pinning arrays on the floor.

The crew banked 40 minutes on every load-in and cut cable trunks by more than half — robotics doing the work that used to take ladders and labour calls. “You have the ability to take the room out of the equation.”

CAPACITY CROWDS AT RED ROCKS

9,500 seats carved into a mountainside with 200 ft. of vertical rise — exactly the geometry robotic articulation was built for, delivered by GTE, OSA, Logic Systems & more.

Coverage follows the amphitheatre’s climb in 0.1° steps, so the last row of the upper reserve gets the same show as the rail — with minimal spill beyond.

LEGENDARY HIP-HOP,
SHAPED TO EVERY SPACE

Two icons, one seminal era of NYC hip-hop across amphitheatres and arenas: a T10 robotic system reshaped to each venue — near-field, far-field, every seat sold.

“I’d like to thank everyone on the PK Sound team that helped us achieve major and memorable moments throughout the NY State of Mind Tour,” says FOH engineer Peter Dottin.

EXCLUSIVELY PK SINCE DAY ONE

The partnership that started on Shambhala’s Village Stage went national — a full PK rig optimized night after night for the most demanding bass-music audience in touring: Navy Pier, Hampton Coliseum, Bill Graham Civic…

“I’ve been waiting a long time for a sound system that can truly translate what I create in the studio,” says Excision.

SUMMER SHEDS, WALL TO LAWN

Reggae-rock co-headliners hit 32 shows in 31 cities — street festivals to a stadium night at San Diego’s Petco Park.

Robotic splay reshapes the rig per venue between load-in and doors — no ladders, no angle calls, straight to soundcheck.

From Front of House

“It helps me take full advantage of PK’s robotic line source technology with everything from prediction to system optimization and monitoring in a single platform. I’m confident driving my system with .dynamics to deliver the best sound for our fans.”

James “Pugsley” McDermott · FOH Engineer — Dierks Bentley

“There is a really, really high fidelity to this rig. The drum transients wrap around you almost like they’re giving you a big hug. It’s a high-end, audiophile-esque listening experience — it was really cool to just push the faders up and have everything translate.”
