In its first year on the market, PK Sound's T8 compact robotic line source system collected a string of industry honours – recognition of the patented Multi-Axis Robotics that set it apart from every other line array in its class.
The run began at CUE 2024 in Rotterdam, where PK's multi-axis robotic technology was named the show's Most Innovative Technology following a strong showing by Central European distribution partner FACE.
At InfoComm 2024 in Las Vegas, the T8 was named “Best New Live Event Speakers” in rAVe [PUBS]' Best of InfoComm Awards, following daily demonstrations that drew capacity crowds to PK's demo room throughout the show.
The year closed with the T8 named a finalist for Best Sound Reinforcement Loudspeaker at the 2025 NAMM TEC Awards – the pro audio industry's most prestigious technical honours – placing the robotic newcomer alongside the biggest names in loudspeaker manufacturing.
Launched in January 2024, the T8 brings PK's robotic coverage control to a dramatically wider range of users and applications. Each module provides remote, real-time mechanical control of vertical coverage at 0.1-degree resolution and more than 40 symmetric and asymmetric horizontal settings – all driven by PK .dynamics software.
Industry veterans took notice, too. “I've been covering the pro audio industry for almost 40 years and PK Sound's T8 demo is one of the best I've ever seen,” commented Jim Norris of Pro Audio Spotlight following InfoComm.
